COVID Safety Information

To ensure the success of the Pineapple Field Days, please stay at home if:

    • You have COVID-19 symptoms including a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.
    • You have tested positive for COVID-19
    • You have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19
    • You have returned from overseas in the previous 14 days
    • You have travelled to a COVID-19 Hotspot in the previous 14 days

Growcom will follow all current health directives throughout the event to ensure the safety of attendees. This information will be communicated to ticket holders, on the Pineapple Field Day website and on Growcom’s social media channels. Please ensure a up to date contact information is provided during registration.

As a further measure, a temporary isolation room will be constructed within the Bundaberg Multiplex where attendees who become unwell during the event can be isolated.

Refund Policy: A Growcom’s discretion, those unable to attend the event due to a positive COVID-19 result or a direction to isolate, may transfer tickets to another party or seek a refund if cancelling prior to June 10 2021.

THURSDAY 8 JULY

Attendees are asked to meet at the Bundaberg Multiplex for registration. Buses will depart from the Multiplex at 8:30AM SHARP. Attendees will arrive back at the Multiplex following the Bargara Brewing Company tour at 5:30PM.

NOTE: Bundaberg-based growers have the option to meet at Amaryllys Farming Co at 9AM to join the group.

7:30AM – 8:15AM – Registrations Open @ Bundaberg Multiplex

8:30AM – Bus departs for Amaryllys Farming Co. @ Welcome Creek

9:00AM – 11:00AM – Farm Walk @ Amaryllys Farming Co.

11:15AM- 12:45PM – Lunch @ Moore Park Beach Tavern

1:00PM – 3:00PM – Farm Walk @ Amaryllys Farming Co.

3:00PM – Bus departs for Bargara Brewing Company

3:30PM- 5:00PM – Bargara Brewing Co Tour & Tasting

5:10PM – Bus departs for Bundaberg Multiplex

Attendees are asked to make their own travel arrangements to and from Littabella Pines (232 South Littabella Road, Yandaran QLD 4673) for Day 2.

Parking will be available during the day.

The Awards are a fantastic way to acknowledge and recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals to the pineapple industry. Nominations are open to both growers and non-growers.

The Rudy Wassman Award – recognising the next-generation of industry professional.
